Winter SOS Essentials

E' la stessa storia ogni anno. Invariabilmente, il mese di novembre marca la fine di quel periodo roseo nel quale posso vivere di rendita dei mesi estivi. L'incarnato che lentamente muore (e nemmeno cosi' lentamente), e prima che me ne possa rendere conto i miei amati smoothies alle more fanno spazio a generose porzioni di crumbles, muffins, cupcakes e biscotti glassati fatti in casa.

Quella mattina in cui lo specchio ti risponde con un ghigno beffardo arriva sempre troppo presto. Ed inizi a fare mente locale. A pensare con pena a quelle noodles che hai mangiato in ufficio -si, quelle liofilizzate, e no, nemmeno i venti centimetri di neve sono una valida scusa. A contare da quanti mesi (quattro, per precisione) campo scuse per non varcare la soglia del non-luogo, la mia nemesi, la palestra, preferendo il mio pigiama mélange.

Ecco le mie ancore di salvezza per uscire di casa con una parvenza di umanità.

Un plauso particolare va al Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse, a risposta a quasi tutte le mie domande. Effettivamente prodigioso, funziona altrettanto bene sulla pelle e sui capelli. Una generosa manciata sulle lunghezze quella domenica in cui non ci sono per nessuno, se non per una delle mie tradizionali tisane detox e l'ultimo nato di casa Assassin's Creed. E qualche ora dopo, perfino i miei capelli traumatizzati dallo shatush e dall'umidità del Belgio sembrano aver ritrovato la voglia di vivere. E se proprio proprio voglio esagerare, una goccia prima dell'asciugatura. E i due giorni successivi passati ad annusarmi i capelli con un'espressione inebetita. E sono ormai inseparabile dallo stick labbra Nuxe Rêve de Miel.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat mi ha stupita per l'effetto quasi immediato; alla seconda applicazione (lo uso come crema da giorno e base trucco) ha già fatto meraviglie. Per quanto riguarda la versione Effaclar K, mi riservo di esprimere un parere in seguito ad un utilizzo più duraturo.

UNE Sfumato Eyes Pencil e UNE Eye Brow Pencil sono ormai parte della mia routine quotidiana, la sottile linea tra lo sguardo smarrito e lo sguardo sottolineato.

Due evergreen per me, ossia Bottega Verde Shampo e Balsamo Crema Semi di Lino. Sono i miei prodotti per capelli del cuore, e si alternano a maschere varie ed eventuali al bisogno.

Una nuova addition (e addiction) é il mio acquisto inglese, ossia il dry shampoo Batiste Original. Per quei giorni in cui sei troppo di fretta, in cui il meteo é più inclemente del solito e la tua chioma ha deciso di fartelo pesare. Uno extra large da tenere a casa, e una versione da viaggio che si alterna tra la mia borsa ed il cassetto dell'ufficio.

E una passata di Essie Really Red, che fa sempre un po' ragazza a modo.

EN. A special praise goes to the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse, the answer to almost all of my questions. Indeed something miraculous, it works just as well on the skin as on hair. A generous handful on the lengths on that Sunday where I am available for no one , except for one of my traditional herbal tea (detox herbal tea, of course) and the latest Assassin's Creed. And a few hours later, even my hair, traumatized by shatush (or ombre hair) and the humidity of Belgium seems to have found the will to live on. And if you really want to exaggerate, add a single drop on the ends before drying. And you will spend the following two days sniffing your hair with a dazed expression. And I have also formed an unbreakable bond with my Nuxe Rêve de Miel moisturizing lip balm.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat surprised me for its almost immediate effect: by the second application (I use it as a day cream and make-up base) it has already worked wonders. As for the Effaclar K version , I reserve the right to express an opinion following a more in-depth analysis.

As for the UNE Sfumato Eyes Pencil and the UNE Eye Brow Pencil, they are now part of my daily routine, literally the thin line between a bewildered, tired look and a deeper, more defined gaze.

Two of my very personal favourites, Bottega Verde Shampoo and Conditioner with Lineseed Oil. They are my go-to hair products , which I alternate with nourishing masks and moisturizing tratments when needed.

A new addition (and addiction) is my British purchase, impossible to find in the Continent: the Batiste dry shampoo in Original. For those days when you are on the run, when the weather is more inclement than usual and your hair has decided to let you down. An extra large bottle to keep at home, and a travel version between my bag and my office drawer.

And a fresh coat of Essie Really Red, which is always the key to that nice girl look
