Back to the 50s ♥ Le Balmoral, Bruxelles

Ho sempre avuto paura delle novità. Non sono un'abitudinaria, ma trovo conforto nella certezza. E la mia vita, da più di due anni, da quando ho conosciuto Quentin e ho deciso di seguirlo in Belgio, non è stata più la stessa. Vivo con la valigia pronta, tra un trasloco e l'altro. Bruxelles, Italia, Louvain-la-Neuve, Bruxelles, Parigi, Italia, Bruxelles... Ma ora, mi trovo quasi a mio agio tra i nuovi progetti, la nuova strada davanti a me. Un nuovo capitolo della mia vita. Da festeggiare con un giorno di ferie, Elvis che canta, e un brunch a base di hamburgers e french toasts allo sciroppo d'acero nel nostro diner preferito. Una pausa diversa dalle giornate frenetiche che sono appena trascorse, e per quelle che verranno. In attesa che le novità diventino certezze, e che la mia anima di gatto domestico possa dirsi finalmente a casa.

EN. I've always been afraid of novelty. I am not quite a creature of habit, but I find comfort in certainties. And my life, for more than two years, since I met Quentin and I decided to follow him in Belgium, has not been the same. I live with my suitcase packed, moving from one place to another. Brussels, Italy, Louvain-la-Neuve, Brussels, Paris, Italy, Brussels ... But now, I am finally at ease among new projects, the new road in front of me. A new chapter in my life. To be celebrated with aday off, Elvis singing, and a brunch of French toasts with maple syrup and hamburgers in our favorite diner. A break from the otherwise hectic days that have just passed, and those to come. While waiting for the news to become certainties, and for my domestic-cat soul to think it feels like home, at last.
