I want to ride my bycicle

.Nothing can come in between us, since I came back. Me and my grandad's bike are inseparables. Quentin and I have taken a liking to long bike rides in the countryside, much like when in Belgium we take long strolls in the woods. Only here it's super sunny and still super warm, as if summer liked lingering and autumn was unusually lazy. It suits me alright, as we did not really have a summer this year. Last weekend we even went to the thermal swimming pool here in Abano Terme, gosh did it feel nice to have the sun warming my wet bones! Wonder how I'll convince myself to go back to living in rainy Brussels!
.To make the most of the soft heath and of the last sunbeams I like to wear my Brandy&Melville's divided skirt which I bought a couple of years ago, my New Look brogues and a sloppy tshirt. And I'm ready for new cycling adventures.

I was wearing:
Brandy & Melville divided skirt
New Look brogues
OVS t-shirt
Vintage sunglasses

Padova

.I missed hanging out in Padova <3 As you can see, whenever I go downtown I make sure to spend some quality time in Prato della Valle (I am sure I bored you with this place!). These pictures were taken on my brithday, hence the pretty hair.
I was wearing:
Brandy&Melville skirt
OVS t-shirt
New Look brogues
Hand-made, customized leather bag
Vintage sunglasses
Forever 21 necklace.

Stealing dresses from someone else's past

my mom’s vintage dress, Tezenis cashmere tights, Brandy coat, Primark beanie hat, H&M bag with Primark black flower

I soliti italiani.
.Ho comprato tante cose in Italia. Troppe. Perche' noi, sciocche e scialbe fanciulle materialiste on a budget come siamo, non siamo mai soddisfatte. E voi?

EN. .Yes, another webcam photo. I could actually take pictures with my camera, but for these simple, meaningless thingies I like it like that. And lately I have dark circles like Uncle Fester's (or whatever it's spelt), or badly washed mascara (but they are 100% natural), and these lovely unfocused pixels just do the trick.
.This week I was sick. I was joking so much about the thermal shock Italy-Belgium, that when the doctor after 2 hours of waiting in a crowded room (filled with people and germs) on Monday morning announced that my lymph nodes were the size of golf balls because of a thermal shock I burst into laughter. I think that Dr. Heidi (I liked the name too much to remember the surname) thought me extremely rude. Typical Italian.
.Tuesday was the anniversary with le boyfriend. Two years of pain and torment. Two years of aircrafts, trains, endless travels from one side of Europe to the opposite corner, and finally to one year of living together on the verge of a murder-suicide happy ending. But he is still and always my little Belgian.
.Today I dared to go out, destination Brussels. It was officially to look for books for my dissertation, but it very soon became a window shopping tour de force (what a shame, I was looking for some brogues, boots and black flats –I see shop owners discriminate against people whose feet are above size 39. hate.-). And an awesome stop at Häagen-Dazs, where we died eating a hot chocolate + caramel muffin, a brownie and what here they call hot chocolate and in Italy we call milk and Nesquik. .I finally managed to wear this lovely dress (minidress on me, supposed to be a mid-length dress) stolen from my mother’s past. From my pre-adolescent mother’s past (like 1971?), and that is why it sort of pulls and chokes here and there even though my grandma (my grandma <3), who had already understood everything, had worked her magic upon it as a surprise. I found it last summer with a tiny ribbon and a ‘for Giulia’, while I was looking for something totally unrelated… needless to say, I burst into tears (and I sort of miss her A LOT).
.Tonight btw I was supposed to go to White Lies’ DJ set at Los Ninos, in Brussels, but those two hours outside made me understand that I am not feeling too well just yet.
. I bought so much stuff in Italy. Too many. But I'm still not satisfied. My wishlist is a blob out of control. Do you ever get the feeling of being fully and completely satisfied with your purchases? There is never, after you buy something -guilt aside-, the terrible thought "yes, and now I need blah blah blah"? That is what Fe and I have been reasoning on for the past few days. Because being the silly and dull materialistic girls on a budget we are, we are never satisfied. Are you?

FR.

Finally Quentin has come to see me, and like every other time he comes here, I try my best to make him discover what used to be my world :D

Short-term happiness

(skirt Brandy&Melville, tank Primark, necklace Urban Outfitters, flats Texto, belt Primark)

Yeee.

These pictures were taken yesterday after an exam (here exams are pretty formal, boys must suit up, and theoretically girls should wear a tailleur, whereas I am always a mess - tho I also had a jacket that de-messed me, on which some minutes after the examination, Quent spilled a can of Fanta), in a brief moment of euphoria of the type "I have one less to do."

I'm going to get all depressed in the library, and cry on the shitty situation I am in and the time lost (what time?) instead of studying. Yeee.

Yeee.
